We call our patented technology Depth-3-Dimensional (D3D) imaging.  Our technology takes existing cross-sectional imaging slices, builds a volume, segment the volume into discrete tissue types and then filters (i.e., removes) tissues of non-interest prior to performing stereoscopic rendering into left and right eye viewing perspectives                    . We have successfully tested this process on simulated data (              ), CT (              ), MRI and PET images. Our image processing technique can be viewed on any modern augmented reality, virtual reality or mixed reality head display unit.  We believe that our next generation technology will fundamentally transform diagnostic radiology from the current slice-by-slice approach to a new, more efficient and more accurate volume-by-volume approach and will save costs and improve patient care.
